  • Needs better support for iPhone X ASAP

    By gutierresjohnathan10
The shows are great, finally a streaming service that has dubbing is perfect. But it’s lackluster since the app has a a lot of downsides that become obvious since being spoiled by VRV, HULU, Netflix, etc. one of the only positives that VRV did not offer when they were with Funimation is looking up anime by genres and popularity, or new to old. Which is a function that should have existed long ago with VRV. I’m glad Funimation has it. The app needs a auto play function, it is lacking hard, when a episode ends it just goes back to the season/episode selection. Which know one has ever needed. I’ll stop the show when I’m ready. You can’t scrub to your specific parts in the show, if you have iPhone X because of the screen back button. So I have to use the 10sec forward button until it passes through which is so annoying especially once it gets into the back button it can’t be touched without backing out of the app altogether. Can’t watch in portrait mode and while this isn’t a must, it makes for being a potential solution to the back button overlaying on the time scrub bar. This needs fix asap. This issues did not exist when they were with VRV.
  • Buggy :/

So, I tried this without the app and on safari and with the app, and when I did it, it sucked both times. So I wanted to watch My hero academia and what happened was when I was halfway through a episode and finally past the ads, the app froze on me. I checked the wifi and it was all full bars so what happened was I had to go back in the episode and try to get to that same spot, and I could not so I had to re watch the episode and all the ads. I finally got back in that spot and it just started lagging where I'd have to spam the pause button to play at least 10 seconds of this I still had full wifi! And the app is bugging my phone, the audio lags and the quality lowers every few minutes. Safari version is just as bad. They even say this is Free anime with dubs when really it's just free for one month. Then you gotta get out the credit card. False advertising, low quality, and the app is buggy. I would recommend the safari version better in my opinion.
  • Great service, terrible app.

    By NicholasKing777
The service itself is fantastic. Magnificent, even. The app on the other hand has things to learn from Netflix, such as not crashing and the ability to freely skip to certain parts without long loading times. You’re better off watching this service on your computer.

I love Funimation they have a lot of amazing anime series that are dubbed I wish they were a little faster with making new episodes dubbed but I’m just an impatient person so Funimation 12/10
  • Pointless

Why do I even pay for this service when I can’t watch anything on it! Both the website and the app won’t load any videos. I will be demanding a refund shortly.
  • Do Not buy this product

    By nickname 280
I purchased the $5.99 subscription but don’t have access to any of the videos. When I emailed their support about the problem they said there was nothing they could do. Basically they are thieves. They take your money even they they know their product does not work.
  • Let’s see a show that looks cool let me try to watch oh wait I can’t

    By veetGY
The design of the app and the whole idea has potential there needs to be some work on how many shows require you to have the subscription and which shows required you to have the subscription.
  • Pretty good

The main issue on watching on my IPad is that I have to turn off subtitles every time. The streaming I have zero issues with.
