  • Pay to get waifu, not pay to play.

    By frilly fizz
Have a waifu that’s not on rate up? Pray to get spooked. Want to just enjoy gameplay without spending money, but have time to grind? Then FGO is the game for you. You can pass with 2-3 star servants with no problem, but you have to grind for mats without an event at the moment. They give you the occasional free 4 star that can be np maxed. (Caster Liz, Saber Liz, Santa Salter etc.) Though the chances for a 5 star are 1%. And those are usually the waifus, however there are few exceptions. It is a great game story and gameplay wise, just kind of tiring to grind. I enjoy it though, and like raising up my servants.
  • So Simple it’s complex

The combat is easy to get the hang of but can form a long in depth strategy when tough bosses show up. but most of the time your mindlessly cutting though the same enemies so it would help a lot just to have a auto fight mechanic
  • Don’t ever play this

If you ever make a purchase, and happen to get a new phone or anything pray you don’t loose access to your purchase records. Because even if you can provide all relevant info for your account the customer service is just to inept at giving you your account again. A company that can only give you access with purchase records is no company at all. Even apple themselves isn’t that stubborn.
  • Amazing game but easily the worst gacha in history

By Who needs the servants, right?
I come to this game as a huge fan of the Fate series, and i must say that the game itself is a piece of art if you are an actual fan of the saga. The animations are beautiful, all the servants are relatively well balanced so that you can progress in the game with 3* servants if needed, and the story telling is extremely well written and narrated (it even made me cry in chapters like Camelot). It is a unique game that will provide you with a fantastic experience. I am not a person that gets easily hooked to phone games, but I can see myself playing FGO for years to come. However, I must admit it also has flaws that cannot be overlooked. The biggest flaw is the rates of getting a 5* servant are ridiculously low. And believe me when I say I am not salty about it, I have had the luck of getting until the moment all the waifus I put my eye on without spending actual money (Jalter, Jeanne, Archuria, summer tamamo, etc), but it is undeniable that the gacha policy in this game is easily the worst among all gachas. The rates of summoning a certain 5* servant (when the rate is up!) is 0.7%, which means you have to statistically roll 150 times to obtain the 5* servant you want. The currency needed for 150 rolls costs 240$. And unfortunately there is no real way to farm that currency after you get up to date into the main story line, which means that if you really really want to get certain servant, you will find yourself saving the in game currency for months to try your luck or spending a lot of real money. And still, that won’t guarantee you will get the servant, since your chances of getting them are too low (and they never give any 5* servant for free). To not mention either that the rates of getting a 4* servant are also terrible. All this together is a huge problem, and I can tell it will never be improved since some fans do think the gacha rates are just fine and are up to spend even their souls in this game. Most of the people that come to this game they do it because of the story and because their love for the servants, so if you are not able to spend hundreds of dollars you will end up feeling frustrated, and that, to me as a gamer and a collector, hurts my soul. Funny thing is that I could totally afford to whale, but you know, I only play another gacha in which I managed somehow to get all the characters until the moment without spending real life money, and still, I feel more eager to spend my money in there because I feel more respected both as a costumer and as a gamer. So in summary, the game is amazing, it really is, but it will destroy your hopes little by little of getting all your beloved servants. So, if you still want to play it I can just give you two advices: or be prepared to spend tons of real money, or just assume that you might get bad luck and never get the character you want due to the extremely unfair rates. If you go with the right mindset, you will enjoy the experience to the fullest, and that is what matters.
  • Fate Grand Order

    By FcharGaming
Ok, I will just start out by saying I am not a bot. I have played this game for a year straight. Stop complaining about the gacha. Even one star Servants can be good, it just relies on skill. While I won’t argue that the singularities take a while, this game is great if you can look past that. If you’re reading this, get the game. You really don’t have anything to lose. 🤗
  • Dropping frames in battle. iPhone XR

    By Supp1n
The iPhone XR is arguably the fastest iPhone currently available (with its sisters the xs and xs max). Even on the bleeding edge hardware this game is dropping frames in battle. Dog slow load times as well for NP animations. Additionally the screen is ‘letterboxed’ for lazy programming. But that’s just insult to injury. Just make the game run right on these top end iPhones.
  • Love the app but....

    By Syzzle
Whenever I have a really good login streak going, the app won’t let me log on for 2-3 days. It just gives me an infinite loading screen. I’d delete and reinstall the app if I wasn’t worried about all my progress being deleted. It’s super frustrating and makes me wanna stop playing the game altogether.
  • Lost Data

    By Mhfv
I played this game for 5 months, made in game purchases with real money, leveled almost all the way up, and earned rare high level servants. Then it did an update which failed literally dozens of times and the game would never launch. I finally got it running and all of my data was gone!!! I contacted support. They gave my a list of information to provide them of about a dozen questions and asked me to answer as many as possible to recover my account. I have answers for all but 3 and they told me they couldn't recover it, couldn't refund me and just couldn't help me unless I answer the rest. I lost hours of investment and real world dollars because their game failed. Terrible
  • Only one issue.

    By MightyElad
I’ve noticed that the histories behind some characters are inaccurate. A good example is Charles-Henri Sanson. The game states that HE executed Queen Marie Antoinette. This is false. His son, Henri Sanson, the fifth in a line of six executioners, was the one who did, and Charles-Henri Sanson watched from the audience, as Henri Sanson did when Charles-Henri Sanson executed King Louis XVI. Other than that, his history checks out, such as medical practices, being the first to use the guillotine, influencing its invention, and disliking his occupation. I believe historical fallacies are good to bring to light, simply because the interactions between Marie Antoinette and Charles-Henri Sanson made little sense to me, as did his description in-game. Thanks for tolerating my little rant here, it’s just that I’m really into history and Charles-Henri Sanson is one of my favorite historical figures, so it kinda set my off. Sorry!
  • serious animation lag issues

    By Chrischschsch
after upgrading to an iPhone xr the sped up battle animations became extremely laggy, it's incredibly annoying so I really hope it gets fixed soon!
