There’s no way for a customer to update the settings in this App. I don’t trust that this App checks for updates on a daily basis. How are customers suppose to know if AT&T is updating their servers and checking for updates. Maybe this App tracks customers devices?

  • VPN closes WiFi and forces data use

    By jmd1905
I downloaded Mobile Security a couple of months ago at the recommendation of AT&T. I’m a U-Verse TV and Internet Fiber customer also. Anyway, I started getting notifications from AT&T that I was about to exceed my 5GB plan when I had never came close to using 3GB in the past. As a precaution I switched to the Unlimited Plan. Then I noticed that my phone was sporadically connecting to WiFi. After being transferred from one CSR to a technician who could actually help me, she asked if I had any software that has a battery saver. I don’t. We did a Network Reset. While rebooting I starting seeing “VPN” messages. The lightbulb in my head went on then. After multiple attempts to turn off the VPN settings in Mobile Security and restarting my phone my only solution was to delete the application and restart. Since then I have never lost my WiFi signal. My huge concern is that why does AT&T promote software that disconnects from their own routers on their own internet system and force cell phone data? Start the conspiracy theories.
  • So many calls now

    By LadyDriven06
I went from 11 spam calls between Sunday to Wednesday of this week and I had 9 just today after installing this app. Not sure if it’s a coincidence or what but man am I not happy right now.
  • Not working correctly

Most of the time when I am using an unsecured WiFi I get a message that it is secure but my phone shows it is using a cellular signal, and it will show me that message several times while I am using an unsecured WiFi

  • Need to be ported for ipad

Seems like a good app. I am curious why I cannot get it for my iPad? The call protect app installs on my iPad but I cannot even see this app in the App Store when I select iPhone only.

    Can’t turn off
  • Happy Happy

I give a five star. It caught about 95% of my spam calls which was much better than my last app. I like that I get update warnings before iPhone notification comes up. Breach reports is cool. I travel a lot. The WiFi security is great for me and lets me know if secure networks are under attack. NICE. And the network protector that encryptions the data is a very nice touch.
  • Can’t open

App won’t open. Says, “oops, something went wrong. Try to open again”. It’s been that way for a few weeks.
