Formula 1® App Reviews

  • Season has now finished

    By ogdobber
Thank you for bringing back the countdown widget, however now that the 2018 season is done, i don't need it to tell me that! I need a countdown to the first race please! The content of the app i usually catch on Twitter but it's nice to have it in one place
  • Can’t watch races

    By orange80
All these apps but F1 still can’t address issues with ability for subscribers to watch races. Totally unacceptable.
  • Terrible Design

    By MarsX3
Terrible design! The results are shown on the event replay selection screen. Keep the results hidden until AFTER one has a chance to replay an event. I live in California and seldom watch an F1 race live. The F1 app used to be great; playing it in synchronization with the TV the results weren’t known until the checkered flag. Now the results are shown before my replay begins. Terrible! Why bother? I could just Google the results and save the time watching the race.
  • Go back to the old version

    By Kirckballet512
This new version may be better for people who forgot their glasses with its large font, but the old version of much better for F1 fans. This new version looks worse and doesn’t give you as much information. The old app was beautiful and fun to use. The new app feels like an iPhone app blown up to fit on my iPad. I paid for the old app, not whatever this is. Please go back to the old version or at least something close to it for next year, otherwise there is no way I will belaying money for this next year.
  • Not worth the money

    By RWstreamer
This is the poorest service since the introduction of a timing app.
  • Too many crashes

    By Randi Stoner
Since the new app was rolled out earlier this season, I have been unable to get the timing app to work for an entire GP. Today, 11/25/18, it made it to lap 14 before seizing up. Given how expensive the app is, I would expect better.
  • Worst app update ever

    By kingstownrich
The previous app version kept me interested in F1. The previous app had great graphics and was a pleasure to see and was immersive. I’ve even used it at the races. Now the childish screens and dots are not worth the significant expense of this app.
  • Live timing

    By Rgd01
The view of the old version to follow the live timing was much better, much much better than the newest one. Please reinstall it or I belive I will not buy the next season pass.
  • Swipe to go back!

    By CaramelMacchiatto
This is necessary/standard on iPhone apps..... It is a pain to have to reach all the way to the top left of the screen to exit an article.
  • Update: orig app split into several apps?

    By DempaV
I was unaware of the new app segregation where the wonderful live timing has moved to a separate app. Not sure why and why they kept a strpped down timing in this app at the same time. Having now been guided to the new apps I am happy again :-) strange though why the app needed the splitting and confusing with overlapping functionality but once you are aware on the updated concept I guess you can find your own workflow for the diff apps. I still think one main app would be best with clear ref to sub app if you need that spawned off due to performance reasons or such.
