  • Not working after 2 years of a great app

    I’m only writing a negative review after using this app for 2 years because it started behaving very poorly. It will turn itself off and stop recording. The alarm doesn’t sound, rather it behaves like I never turned it on. Pointless to try to use it until fixed, which is a shame because it’s been a really great app.

    I have been using this app for quite some time (and it wasn’t bad, although I’d say the accuracy is only fair) until a more recent update required you to have ridiculous amounts of battery life before allowing you to even START sessions. My watch has never reduced its battery by more than 25-30% AT MOST during a Pillow session but now it requires me to have nearly 80% battery available on my Apple Watch just to use it… Something that never happens by the end of the day. I used to be able to go all day with my watch and then use it all night with the app with no problems and now this app is rendered completely useless because unless you remember to completely charge up your watch before bedtime… It doesn’t work AT ALL. I wouldn’t bother with this app. There are certainly other options out there that work as well without the hassle. These developers have taken a perfectly good app and ruined it.

    Pillow premium user. Got it because of all the glowing reviews, after switching from Fitbit to Apple Watch. Hate it. Inaccurate to the point that it barely recognizes that I sleep; tells me often that I don’t go into REM but have dreams, and often confuses REM with being awake. Contacted support, and all I got was “reset Pillow’s learning”, which I’ve done several times to no avail. It’s absolutely worthless.

  • Doesn't collect data

    Paid for the premium and I am totally disappointed. The app fails to collect data. Customer support keeps telling me to reset my phone or watch or update whatever. My watch and phone are always up to date so how can it be that the app worked for about a week and now it collects data maybe once a week.
  • Gone downhill recently

    I’ve been using the app for quite some time now; even paid for the full version. Until recently I had no problems with the app, it had learned my patterns pretty well and along with my fitbit, gave me some pretty good results. However, after a recent update the app has suddenly become a problem; one I have tried contacting support about only to be ignored. The app will completely shutdown in the middle of the night recording absolutely no data whatsoever. There’s nothing that has changed about how I use the app, or my placement of my phone.

    Never tracks!!! What up with this app that I paid for. Also I gave it a one star and before I could send it asks for a nickname. Every time they say that nickname is taken even when I give a gibberish name. I am now sending this w 4 stars. Let’s see if this posts!

    I like this app because it tracks how much of rem/deep/light sleep and how much I’m awake for. This app is also great because you can choose how you feel when you wake up.
  • Not accurate

    Something is wrong with this app as it doesn’t accurately report sleep time. I have used it for a week and it has been significantly wrong each day!
