My Movies - Movie & TV App Reviews

  • Great App for movie Buffs

    By Maximusbile
What a great app! To have any and all information on all your movies at your fingertips is insane! The only hiccup is that I would like to be able to correct discrepancies myself, rather than get permission, or go to a computer and login to do so. Just for instance, Peaky Blinders has a foreign cover, and I am unable to change to an English version. Absolutely worth $7.99 when I have over 1800 entries to take care of. Highly recommended 😀
  • Got the app on Android

  • VHS Support

    By jessievetovich
For some of us old school people, this is a great app but should support VHS titles as well!!
  • Better Organization

This app is by far the best app out there on the market. I upgraded to the full version, however I noticed that when It gives the total amount of movies It gives the amount of cases you have. For example if I have a three movie bundle dvd, it’ll show It as one movie. It would be nice if It could show 1(3), meaning one dvd but actually three movies considering it’s a bundle.
  • Great app, works well, picks up practically all

First off, I bought the original version that stopped working for iOS 11 etc. I appreciate that the makers of this app are still around and made an updated version. They offered me a discount because I had the previous version and I think that’s fair. This app has tons of great features like quickly scan a barcode and it brings up the exact DVD, Blu-ray or Ultra HD movie. You can search by tons of parameters (e.g. actor director etc.) and you can export your list to CVS or PDF! Very easy to use and it’s backward compatible with the older version so I didn’t loose any of my previously entered movies. Keep up the good work.
  • My review.

This app is never up to date with new releases, usually takes a day for some to be in the system, I usually buy new releases the day of, in the morning, and the new releases still aren’t in the database. Also in the area where it tells you which new releases are coming out weekly, they’re never up to date with those either.
  • it’s a scam!!!

    By Dobie420
bought the pro version a while back. they upgraded the current version. now they want you to buy the new version. old pro version no longer works. you do not need this app, it just seems like you do, real talk. PS, ive seen the responses (from developers) to other similar complaints and they say “yeah you get a free upgrade, but only once) But the old version should still work right? well, it doesn’t. my point to whoever might respond to my review...DONT!!! i promise you if you respond to this (karma, not me ) will destroy your children,
  • Ok so far, but Free version limit is 16 titles not 50.

It’s fast and easy to use. Be sure to set the Groups filter to “All Groups” if you enter titles with different groups (e.g. owned for sale, rented, previously owned, etc.) otherwise you won’t see them all listed. The Free version 2.3 limit is about 16 titles not 50 titles.

I’m it able to open the app that’s on my phone. I have to go to the App Store, look it up and click on open. On my phone I get a iOS error. Very frustrating!!!
  • Nice app to catalogue but it doesn't keep an accurate count.

    By Capt.ron 81
I trailed and purchased the full version of this app to keep track of my 1200+ DVDs and Blurays. I love that it links to the IMDb info pages, has cover photos, and I can add filters like "John Carpenter" or "zombie" to quickly narrow down my list. What I'm not a fan of is that my collection count is not accurate. If I have #25 in my collection (a DVD) and and then upgrade to the new collector's Bluray which becomes #1201. If I sell the DVD and remove it from my collection, the #s stay the same. So now I'm not really sure how many films/discs my collection consists of because it just keeps adding #s despite my removing titles from the list. As some one buying this app to catalog and keep track of my films that doesn't really cut it.
