Pretty good app. Doesn’t really interface with iPhone. Calls that are “blocked” in Hiya sometimes still come through because the number isn’t blocked in the iPhone itself. I gave it 3 stars because it should interface and supersede the iPhone caller ID and blocking features. I still use the app to block numbers. The process I use is “copy” from the iPhone recent tab and then paste into Hiya. Within Hiya, caller ID only works on telemarketers. Also, I have a friend who uses Hiya on the Samsung platforms and they have full “premium” usability for free whereas this is a “pay to play” option on iOS.

After several weeks of using the free option, still getting up to 8 or more spam calls per day. The “neighbor” block feature (for numbers appearing to come from your personal area code) has only notified me on 2 or 3 occasions out of MANY! Super frustrating. Is this a scam in and of itself to drive you to PAY for the premium service?

I have used this app since Apple recommended it to handle nuisance calls by scammers and telemarketers. My problem lies with the app.....doesn’t recognize phone calls, and I must copy the number and then open up the app to block the number. I’m still getting calls from the very same caller they are just changing the last 4 digits of their phone number. I am a premium customer and it also isn’t automatically updating even though it is selected.

The app is polished but underperforms. I had spam calls getting through with it and I hate that if someone gets through, I need to manually put the number in rather than the app being able to look at my recent call list

Useless, shows more personal data about me than other phone line users. Not worth it.

When I first upgraded it worked great. Now however it seems to have stopped stopping a lot of the calls. I do not plan on renewing when the year is finished.
